Games, Practices and Tournaments on
Athletic Fields
¤
All athletic activities
(games, supervised practices and tournaments) and events are scheduled
and fields reserved through the Sulphur Springs Parks and Recreation
Department except those open fields posted as “Public Practice
Fields”. Insurance verification, agreement to abide by Park
Rules and payment of a User Fee are items in a User Agreement. Field
reservations and User Agreement information are available at
www.colemanpark.com or call the Parks and Recreation Office, (

¤
Public Practice Fields
are posted and anyone can use them for non-game and non-tournament
activities. Waiting time is about one hour when fields are being used.
¤
Scheduled Teams
are requested to not enter a field more than twenty minutes before a
game for warm up and only when their coach is present in the field.
Warm ups should be conducted using a practice net to prevent damage to
fences by balls being tossed and hit against them.
¤
The Parks and Recreation
employees make repairs and adjustment on equipment and
controls. Call (

Players and Fans Safe and Appropriate
Conduct Guide
¤
Sportsmanship
behavior, appropriate language and conduct are expected of everyone
while at the Athletic Complex.
¤
Children
should be supervised and pets kept under controlled so they do
not cause damage or become a nuisance.
¤
Possession of alcoholic
beverages, non-prescription drugs and firearms are
criminal offenses. Smoking is restricted by City ordinance.
¤
Bicyclists
are permitted on the walking paths and roadways. Bicyclists, tricycles,
skaters, skateboarders and scooters should not be
in or about the Athletic Complexes for their own safety and to prevent
accidents with fans at events.
¤
Vehicles
should be legally parked in marked parking stalls so they do not
impede the access of emergency vehicles into the Athletic Complex.
Motorized vehicles should not be driven or parked on sidewalks or the
grass.
¤
Players and fans are
requested not to bring food and beverages into the
Athletic Complex during events. Your patronage of the concession stand
helps pay for the operation and upkeep of the athletic fields and
reduces User Fees.
¤
Picking up litter
and placing it in the available containers reduces labor and prevents
increasing fees to use the fields.
Safety and Emergency
¤
Emergency
or unlawful activity should be reported directly to the Police
or use the
911
phones provided in the Park.
¤
Golf
balls are dangerous and should not be brought into the Parks.
