Athletic Field User Fee Schedule

 

A group or sponsor desiring to use a field at a Park’s Athletic Complex within the City of Sulphur Springs, Texas, must reserve that field, sign and execute a Utilization (User) Agreement and pay the User Fee. Fields published as Public Practice Fields, unless posted otherwise, are not reserved, a User Agreement is not necessary and there is no User Fee for playing on the field.

User Fee Rates

¤     Single Game on a Field Rate                                                      $20.00

¤     Team Season* Rate                                                                   $88.00
                                                  or

¤     Player Season Rate                                                                    $  8.00

¤     Tournament or Special Event Day Field Rate                           $50.00

Surcharges

A surcharge is added to the User Fee Rate whenever the User requests the City to prepare or recondition fields on days and Holidays when the City must pay its athletic field crew for overtime or a Holiday. The rates for surcharge is based on actual averaged payout cost of labor by the City, the time it takes to complete the task on a field and for an Athletic Field Crew of two employees.

¤     Overtime Field Preparation Surcharge                                        $25.00

¤     Holiday Field Preparation Surcharge                                          $42.00

¤     Between Game Field Recondition Surcharge                             $25.00 per hour

¤     Holiday Field Recondition Surcharge                                            $42.00 per hour

¤     Field Recondition Recall Surcharge[*]                                           $13.00 per time

 

Fields are only tentatively reserved until a User Agreement is signed and the User Fee paid to the City.


* A normal season is defined as either a ten week period or about sixteen game play period. The season rate will be prorated to as small as a quarter season.

[*] This surcharge is applied when crew leaves the park during game and returns between the games to work.
